Cancellation & refunds

Last updated 3 September 2026

Cancelling

Cancel whenever you like, from the billing page in your account. It takes two clicks, you do not have to email anyone, and nobody will try to talk you out of it.

When you cancel, your subscription keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stops. You are not charged again. Your account, your settings and your home IP stay exactly as they are, so restarting later takes one click.

Refunds

Subscriptions are paid in advance, so cancelling does not automatically refund the period you are part-way through — you keep the access you have already paid for until it runs out.

If you think you are owed a refund, ask us. Email team@consolevpn.co.uk from the address on your account, say what happened, and we will look at it properly. We consider each request on its facts. Things that weigh heavily in your favour:

We would much rather you told us something was wrong than quietly kept paying for it. If it has not been working, say so — that is the situation we most want to hear about.

Your statutory right to cancel

Separately from anything above, UK consumer law gives you 14 days from subscribing to change your mind about something bought online. For a digital service you asked to start using immediately, that right can be lost once the service has begun, and the checkout asks you to agree to start straight away. Nothing on this page removes a right you have in law, and if you are within that window, tell us and we will honour it.

The free trial

The trial needs no card. When it ends, nothing is charged and nothing renews — the service simply stops carrying you until you choose a plan. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.

How long it takes

We aim to answer refund requests within a couple of working days. Where we do refund, it goes back to the card you paid with, usually within five working days of us issuing it.

This policy does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
