RELAY CONTROL

Privacy policy

Last updated 3 September 2026

This explains what Console VPN stores about you, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we store

What we do not store

Why we are allowed to hold it

Our lawful basis for your email, IP address and settings is performance of a contract — we cannot deliver the service you have paid for without them. For the event log our basis is legitimate interests: diagnosing faults and preventing account sharing, balanced against the fact that the log holds no content, only what changed and when.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone else except where we are legally required to.

Where it is held

Your account data is stored in the UK or the EEA. Relay servers are deliberately in other countries — that is the entire product — and each one holds a list of allowlisted IP addresses, including yours, for as long as you use that region. Those transfers rely on the standard contractual safeguards our providers offer.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. You can delete your account yourself from the account page, which removes your sign-in, your IP address and your settings.

Email team@consolevpn.co.uk for anything else. If you are not happy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We set one cookie, to keep you signed in. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking on this site, which is why you have not been asked to accept anything.

Children

This service is not intended for under-16s and we do not knowingly hold their data. If you believe a child has an account here, email us and we will remove it.
